Stang Top & Foot (With Candle Holder)

In traditional witchcraft, a staff with a forked top is known as a stang, and in some traditions symbolises the Horned God. Forged from iron these beautiful stang tops and feet are cast for fixing to the top and bottom of a wooden staff. They have an elegantly curved horn shape and were hand-forged by talented local Blacksmith Ron Markey here in Cornwall.
 
Comes with a cylindrical iron shoe to protect and ground the bottom of the staff, as all stangs should be shod in iron.
 
Size: The stang top is approximately 13.5cm (5″) tall and 9cm (3.5″) across, with space and fixing to hold a candle under the centre. and the internal diameter of the part that fixes to the staff is approximately 2 cm. It has a hole to secure it to the staff with a nail or screw.
