Rowan Berries

Rowan, Mountain Ash, Quickbeam, Witch Wood, Sorb Apple, Wicken, Caorunn. No matter what you call this beautiful Tree its power is undeniable.
 
Know for its Wood and Red Berries, Rowan has long been used in protection Magicks & Charm Crafting, it is said by many that the Berries from the Great Rowan trees are the most potent and powerful protection a witch could use against against magick.
 
The Berries are traditionally sewn with red cord while fresh and allowed with dry, during the sewing process the circular charms are often adorned with woods and other magickal ingredients to create the desired shielding charm. Protecting from harm and magick alike.
In Scandinavia the Rowan is held in very high regard for the Wood is said to be imbued with magick, as a result its used in many divination tools and used within rune work. And within the Norse culture the tree is linked to Thor, with it being the tree that saved his life and helped him to the shore while becoming trapped within a fast flowing river in the underworld.
 
Each one of our Herbs & Roots is packaged in a glass vile and is wax sealed with The Magpie & The Moon stamp.
 
Each one of our Herbs & Roots is individually hand picked, hand dried & hand blessed. It is important to us that all of our herbs are locally grown in one of our many Gardens or is hand foraged from the wilds of Cornwall. Using what the earth provides locally and being a self sustaining craft with no mass farming or importing. Using what the earth and the season provide keeping our herb craft as traditional as possible.
