Ragwort

Ragwort, Witches Flight, Witch Wort, St James Wort just a few of its many names. Ragwort grows in abundance within the South West and is very important to the Witches of Cornwall.
 
With stories of Witches taking flight on stems of this beautiful flower across the villages and moorland on the nights of Sabbat, this plant has long been tide to that of the craft.
A powerful & potent herb, add this herb to your flying oils, balms and tinctures... but refrain from consumption due to its bitter taste and mild toxicity.
 
We will be selling a blend of the flower, stem, leaf, root and seed, making use of the whole sacred plant.
 
Each one of our Herbs & Roots is packaged in a glass vile and is wax sealed with The Magpie & The Moon stamp.
 
Each one of our Herbs & Roots is individually hand picked, hand dried & hand blessed. It is important to us that all of our herbs are locally grown in one of our many Gardens or is hand foraged from the wilds of Cornwall. Using what the earth provides locally and being a self sustaining craft with no mass farming or importing. Using what the earth and the season provide keeping our herb craft as traditional as possible.
