Goats are one of the many sacred animals within Witchcraft and are linked to many of Gods and Goddess. From Artemis, Dionysos, Baphomet, Juno, Pan, and Satan to name but a few that hold this animal in high regard.
 Goats have long been linked to Visions of Darkness, Power, Sure-footedness, Desire, Creative, Revelry, Tranquillity, Aspiration, Faith, Seduction and Lust.
The goat is a symbol of Witches and the Devils' blessings to many. They teach us to stand true to our own desire and power. With lessons of self-discovery, self-respect, and the ability to stand on our own feet without the need of judgement or rules. They help us channel our inner power, the power from around us, and our inner most darkest desires.
While Obsidian was prized especially by that of the Mayans and Aztecs, they believed obsidian would stab into darkness to reveal the truth itself. The Mayan prophets used polished Obsidian as “mirrors” for scrying purposes, prophesizing the future and seeing in to the past. In ancient Mexican culture, Obsidian was called Itzli, which means the God of Stone.
 
Today, witches use obsidian in Scrying to see that past, present, and future. It's used for protection and in necromantic rites to call on the dead. It's a stone of protection, enhancement, empowerment, and prophecy. And is a powerful tool when put to work.
