Carnelian Palm Stone

These beautiful palm stones are made from natural carnelian. The Egyptians called carnelian the "Sunset Stone" and associated it with the sun god Re, the fertility goddess Isis, and the Eye of Horus. Carnelian was often used in jewellery and was buried with mummies to help them pass into the afterlife. In ancient Greece, Carnelian was used as a protective talisman against natural disasters. While the Romans decorated their battle armour with carnelian for strength and courage.
