Canopic Jars - Set of 4

These beautiful Canopic jars are hand crafted from resin and painted in royal gold. Depicting the four sons of Horus, each jar is adorned with the head of a Jackal, Baboon, Man, and Falcon. The four Sons of Horus are the Gods, Hapy protector of the lungs, it is he who has the head of Baboon, Imsety, the protector of the liver and it is he who has the head of Man, Duamutef protector of the stomach and it is he who has the head of a Jackal, and Qebehsenuef the protector of the intestines, it is he who has the head of a Falcon.
Each of these sacred gods and jars where part of the sacred right of mummification and necromantic rites of Kemetic practice.
Place these jars as an offering on your Kemetic Altar or use to store scared oils and herbs of your practice.
