Blue Lotus Flower

Blue Lotus, the symbol of victory of spirit over the senses, and the triumph of wisdom over suffering, the orgin of life, the keys to the soul and subconscious, it is often associated with rebirth, enlightenment, spiritual awakening, and the cycle of life and death. For centuries the Blue Lotus has been held sacred by many cultures but none more so the the Egyptians. Within the Egyptian Mythology the primordial blue lotus was often represented as the Egyptian god or divinity called Nefertem or Nefertum, meaning both “Atum is Perfected” and “Beauty Coming into Being.” It is through Nefertum's blue lotus that the Sun, Ra, is born - magically bursting forth into existence.
This beautiful and divine flower is used today as a way to reach the divine, the subconscious and the spirit. By smoking or drinking teas laced with this flower for a reality altering effect it allows the mind and spirit to detach from the Mortal Coil and roam free. The Lotus elevates the consciousness and attunes it to the highest spiritual mind, aiding one in attaining a visions and sight like no other.

Each one of our Herbs & Roots is individually hand picked, hand dried & hand blessed. It is important to us that all of our herbs are locally grown in one of our many Gardens or is hand foraged from the wilds of Cornwall. Using what the earth provides locally and being a self sustaining craft with no mass farming or importing. Using what the earth and the season provide keeping our herb craft as traditional as possible.
