Agrimony

Agrimony is one of the most protective herbs that the earth provides. Symbolising protection and reversal magick. It is used to break jinxes, Curses and hexes and is said to turn them back upon the sender. In Hoodoo, Agrimony is considered to be one of the best herbs for counteracting the Evil Eye, slander, and gossip.
 
Agrimony is also used in folk magick charms to ensure restful sleep. It is especially used when a person is anxious or troubled by nightmares. Traditional British folklore states that if a sprig of the plant was placed under a person's head, they would sleep until it was removed.
 
An english rhyme says this of Agrimony:
'If it be leyd under mann's head,
He shal sleepyn as he were dead;
He shal never drede ne wakyn
Til fro under his head it be takyn.'
 
Agrimony is also said to be one of the Sacred herbs of Hekate.
 
Each one of our Herbs & Roots is packaged in a glass vile and is wax sealed with The Magpie & The Moon stamp.
 
Each one of our Herbs & Roots is individually hand picked, hand dried & hand blessed. It is important to us that all of our herbs are locally grown in one of our many Gardens or is hand foraged from the wilds of Cornwall. Using what the earth provides locally and being a self sustaining craft with no mass farming or importing. Using what the earth and the season provide keeping our herb craft as traditional as possible.
