Today's post is going to touch on magick infused paper, how to make and how to use to its best advantage in your every day craft.
The most common of these is tea stanning, now most assume that people tea stain for mimicking an aged look for aesthetics. However what is commonly missed is the metaphysical act of using tea stain it to keep unwanted eyes from gazing upon what the paper holds. Tea although amazing for Psychic Enhancement it can also be used for an adverse effect closing the doors and windows from onlookers. Making it perfect for Grimoire work and private notation.
Now tea isn't the only thing that can be infused in to parchment, any herbal ingredient can be infused to create a desired effect. For prosperity a great recipe is:
Catnip
Bay leaf
Alfalfa
Apple
Cinnamon
Steep your herbs and soak in you paper, once fully saturated in your herbal mixture allow your paper to dry. Once dry your paper can now be used in spell and charm work, you can write your intentions on the paper and burn them releasing your intention in to the world (similar to the act of burning bay leaves). You can add your paper with you written intentions and place inside charm bags and spell bottles to bring your desires in to effect.
The act of imbuing your paper with the gifts of herbs can be done to any desire whether thats rose, jasmine and honeysuckle for love, or angelica, lavander, clove and chilli for protection. The limits are endless. And the same goes for your waters, you can add spiritual waters for the steeping process, whether that's from sacred sites, natural locations or waters of the moon, storms and snow for example.
Now a great recipe for left hand workings is to soak your paper in:
Chilli
Rust/iron
Black volcanic salt
Like the others once your paper is saturated and dry, you can add the name of your target, this can be placed in spell works, burned, buried or for example placed inside and ants or birds nest to drive them to insanity.
Infusing your paper with set magick and intentions, is a great way for creating instant magick. And perfect for the day in the life of a modern traditional witch.
